This past Thursday evening, Delaware Boys State, along with American Legion Auxiliary, Department of Delaware - Girls State, attended the 2026 Congressional Delegation Service Academy Night. The evening with hosted by U.S. Senator Chris C***s, U.S. Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester and Congresswoman Sarah McBride. We were pleased to set up a table with information about our program. We were honored to see 2025 alums, Mason Furman and Cole Buonopane. Mason will be attending the United States Naval Academy this fall, while Cole will be attending West Point - The U.S. Military Academy. We are so proud of both of them.

Boys State Director, Chad Robinson, and Assistant Director, Chris Cooper, were honored to attend the Eagle Scout Court of Honor of Boys State and Boys Nation alum, Giovanni Tiano, earlier today. Giovanni attended Delaware Boys State and Boys Nation in 2025. It was an exciting day for Giovanni and his family. We congratulate him on his accomplishment and thank him for the kind invitation to take part.

2025 was a landmark year for Delaware Boys State, marked by the launch of our new logo and website, enhancing the application process for delegates. This year, we honored Past Chairman Lyman Brenner and saw active participation from 39 young men, engaging with notable speakers and simulating state government. Our commitment to community service continued with a veterans' gravestone cleaning project. Join us in shaping future leaders!

This weekend Delaware Boys State leadership, along with Delaware Girls State and Oratorical Contest leadership, attended The American Legion National Americanism Conference in Indianapolis. This conference provides Boys State leadership from across the country to share best practices, learn new ideas and meet colleagues and friends.
