What a whirlwind week it has been at DCTS!!!๐ซ
From celebrations and student achievements to meaningful events and unforgettable experiences, our students and staff have truly made the most of every opportunity this week.
Last Friday, we kicked off the excitement with our annual Mini-THON event, where students, staff, and supporters came together for an unforgettable evening benefiting Four Diamonds and the fight against childhood cancer. Through the dedication of our Four Diamonds Officers and Chairs, generous donations, and yearlong fundraising efforts, DCTS proudly raised an incredible $14,072.22 for this important cause! We are so proud of our students for their perseverance, leadership, and commitment to making a difference.

On Tuesday, we celebrated another exciting accomplishment as two of our students competed in the PA Media & Design Competition held at Elizabethtown College.
Congratulations to Rylan Henry and Connor Krause, who earned 1st Place overall in the Web Design competition with their project, Dauphin County Anglerโs Conservation! ๐ Their creativity, technical skills, and teamwork were on full display, and we are incredibly proud of their achievement.

Last night, we had the honor of celebrating our seniors during our annual Senior Awards Night โ and what an incredible evening it was! This year, a record-breaking 96 awards were presented, the most we have ever awarded to date. ๐
In addition to Senior Awards Night, we also held a special mini-graduation ceremony for eight seniors who will be representing DCTS at the National SkillsUSA Competition on June 2 and, as a result, will miss their traditional graduation ceremony.
Surrounded by DCTS faculty, staff, family, and loved ones, these students were recognized for their outstanding accomplishments, dedication to their craft, and success in their respective SkillsUSA competitions. It was a beautiful and meaningful ceremony honoring both their achievements and the impact they have made during their time at DCTS.
We are tremendously proud of these students and wish them the very best as they travel to Georgia in two weeks to represent DCTS and showcase the incredible skills they have developed throughout their career and technical education journey.
And finally, we wrapped up the week with one of the most entertaining and memorable events of the year โ our 4th Annual DC Tech Got Talent show! ๐
From incredible cultural dances that beautifully showcased the diversity and inclusion within our Wolverine family, to emotional and powerful vocal performances, unforgettable Michael Jackson tributes, and a crowd-closing performance that even had staff members dancing the Macarena in the aisleways โ our students absolutely brought the energy and talent this year!
This event continues to be such a special opportunity for students to express themselves, celebrate one another, and create lasting memories together as a school community. The bar has officially been set high for next yearโs show!
A huge thank you to our Administration team, faculty, and staff for supporting this event, and most importantly, thank you to our amazing student performers for courageously sharing your talents with all of us. We are so proud of you!
What. A. Week. ๐๐๐
