Join us for the June 2026 Continuing Education Session at LifeTeam Education, where we empower professionals with the latest training methods and insights. This monthly offering is designed to enhance your skills and knowledge, fostering growth in your field. Engage with experts and fellow learners while advancing your career through our commitment to ongoing education.

This session will be held starting at 18:00 Hours. There are two options for attendance.

In Person: Adam's County: York Street Medical Building (400 York Street, Hanover, PA 17331) - Large Auditorium.

Online: If you wish to attend virtually, you will be sent a Microsoft Teams Link shortly before the start of the session.

All registrations must be completed online.

It is with deep remorse that we at LifeTeam EMS announce the passing of one of our own.

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Jeff Lenker — an Emergency Medical Technician who dedicated more than 30 years of service to the people of Dauphin County.

Jeff was more than an EMT. He was a mentor, a dependable partner, a compassionate caregiver, and someone who could always bring humor and calm to even the toughest days. Those who worked beside him knew that he never had a bad word to say about anyone and always carried himself with professionalism, humility, and respect.

Throughout his career with Millersburg Area Ambulance and Life Team, Jeff served his community with honor. He held the positions of President, Vice President, and proudly carried the respected title of Chief 20-A at Millersburg Area Ambulance — a role he fulfilled with tremendous pride, dedication, and commitment to both his community and the surrounding communities he served.

Jeff’s impact on EMS cannot be measured simply by years of service, but by the countless lives he touched, the providers he mentored, and the friendships he built along the way.

We extend our deepest condolences to Jeff’s family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and serving beside him.

Rest easy, Chief 20-A. Your service, leadership, and legacy will never be forgotten.

🏆EMS Week Awards Ceremony 🏆

During EMS Week 2026, LifeTeam EMS proudly held our annual Awards Ceremony, recognizing the incredible accomplishments, dedication, and service of our employees. This year’s ceremony was especially meaningful as we were honored to be joined by representatives from Zoll Medical Company.

Throughout the event, many of our staff members were recognized for their outstanding commitment to patient care, clinical excellence, leadership, and service to our organization and communities. We are extremely proud of the hard work and professionalism displayed by all of our team members each and every day.

LifeTeam EMS was also recognized by Zoll representatives for our successful rollout of the newly released Zoll Zenix Monitor throughout our organization. In addition, we celebrated some of the first documented cardiac arrest clinical saves achieved utilizing the Zoll Zenix platform — an exciting milestone that reflects our organization’s continued commitment to innovation, advanced patient care, and positive patient outcomes.

Thank you to Zoll Medical Company for joining us and supporting our mission, and congratulations to all of our award recipients. Your dedication truly makes a difference in the lives of those we serve every day.

Today, during EMS Week 2026, we recognize “Save-A-Life Day” — a reminder that lifesaving skills are not limited to emergency responders alone. Every member of our community has the potential to save a life.

At LifeTeam EMS, we strongly encourage community members, healthcare professionals, and public safety personnel to pursue lifesaving education such as American Heart Association (AHA) CPR training and Stop the Bleed courses. These programs provide the knowledge and confidence needed to act quickly during emergencies when seconds truly matter.

Whether it’s recognizing cardiac arrest and beginning CPR, using an AED, or controlling severe bleeding before first responders arrive, these skills save lives every single day.

We are also incredibly proud of our own staff members, who remain our greatest asset when it comes to delivering lifesaving care. From emergency scenes and critical patient care to education and prevention efforts throughout our communities, our providers demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and clinical excellence every day.

Thank you to all of our EMTs, Paramedics, Dispatchers, Educators, and support staff who continue to make a difference when people need help most.

👩‍👧‍👧 Today, on the third day of EMS Week 2026, we proudly recognize the theme: EMS for Children. 👩‍👧‍👦

At LifeTeam EMS, we are committed to pediatric excellence throughout every level of our organization. Over the past year, our Pediatric Committee has worked tirelessly to strengthen pediatric emergency care and ensure our providers are prepared to care for our youngest patients. Through those efforts, our organization was honored with Gold-Level Recognition through the Pennsylvania EMS for Children Prepared for Pediatrics – EMS Initiative.

Education remains a top priority at LifeTeam EMS. Every EMS provider in our organization is required to complete a minimum of four hours of pediatric continuing education annually to maintain and expand their pediatric knowledge and skills.

Our commitment to children extends far beyond emergency response. Throughout the year, our team proudly participates in countless community outreach programs focused on supporting children and families, including:

• Monthly CPR for Expectant Families courses
• Our JR EMT Academy, where high school students visit our education center to explore careers in EMS and learn hands-on EMS skills
• Car Seat Inspection and Education Sessions to help keep children safe on the road

We are proud to serve our communities and invest in the health, safety, and future of children every single day.

Did you know that LifeTeam EMS has its own dedicated EMS Education Staff? One of the things that makes our organization unique is our commitment to advancing EMS education across our region. LifeTeam EMS is proud to have our own Medical Director and full-time education staff members dedicated solely to promoting and delivering high-quality EMS education and professional development.

Our education team consists of:

• Medical Director of Education: Dr. Matthew Myers
• Assistant Chief: Nicholas Kimmel (Department Lead / ALS Coordinator)
• Captain: Brendon Smith (Clinical Coordinator)
• Captain Matthew Warner (BLS Coordinator - AHA Lead)
• Captain Jerry Misner (EVDT/Continuing Education)

Together, they work tirelessly to ensure our providers and regional partners receive exceptional training opportunities and continuing education.

LifeTeam EMS proudly offers both internal and external educational programs, including:
