Substance use disorders touch many lives across central Pennsylvania, and while Daystar has been able to help many manage their sobriety, not everyone is so fortunate to find assistance like that.

One way you can honor a loved one who lost their battle with #addiction is by participating in Daystar Center for Recovery’s first-ever #charity #golf #tournament on October 9, 2021, at Armitage Golf Club in Mechanicsburg. If you participate in memory of someone lost, we will include their name in the event program. We also encourage you to wear a t-shirt, arm band, or other article with the loved one’s name or photo on it (consider purple, as it is the color used to honor those who have passed from an overdose 💜 ) the day of the tournament to keep their memory alive.

To learn more and register for the event, please visit https://www.daystarrecovery.com/1st-annual-golf-tournament.

Spotted Lanternfly - what to do if you see them. Issue is our state and especially in Dauphin County. This is important because everyone has to kill and look out for them. These have been spotted in Harrisburg. We have orders on how to handle it in the state of PA. We must share with everyone. This will kill our trees and plants. Attached is a picture.
