Harrisburg Elementary School extends a heartfelt THANK YOU to our school community! We're incredibly proud of our readers and grateful for your support, which made our fundraiser a success. Our students had a wonderful time reading. Now they have until March 28th to use their Rat bucks in the prize store. We can't wait to host another Read-A-Thon next year!

It's time for the Harrisburg Elementary School Read-A-Thon!
Our school Read-A-Thon begins on Monday March 3, 2025 and is sure to be a fun and exciting event.

We understand that your time is valuable. We also know that providing the best education for your child is important. That's why we are encouraging everyone to activate their student's Read-A-Thon account as soon as possible. The instructions are straightforward, making it quick and hassle-free, and it should take less than 5 minutes of your time.

Join Us in Supporting Harrisburg Families This Holiday Season

We still have 10 families left for adoption on our HES lobby tree. Presents are given to families on Dec. 18, so we need help getting these families taken care of. There is a variety of family sizes, so if you’d like to help out a HSD family, stop by the Elementary School and pick out an ornament! Groups/businesses often come together to take on a family and not have to bare the whole expense.

This community does such an amazing job of taking care of each other, we’d love your help to accomplish fulfilling the biggest year of families we’ve done (65 fams)!

Thank you to everyone who takes such good care of our HSD families!

We sure are thankful for our kitchen staff for making a delicious lunch meal for our students!
Roasted Turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, glazed carrots, and a green salad.
