🎆 Light Up Horizons! 🎆

LHM Foundation is seeking sponsors for each of the 58 resident units within our Horizons transitional housing program!

So far, 31 generous individuals and businesses have sponsored a room – thank you to these generous donors, who help LHM Foundation offer dignity, stability, and support as Horizons program participants work toward secure housing.

There are still 27 resident units waiting to be lit, and we need your help to light all 58! Room sponsorships are available at the individual support ($10,000) and family support ($25,000) levels. We were excited to have a (non-emergency!) visit from our local police and fire departments last week! The children in our Horizons program had the chance to meet and build positive connections with the people who help keep our community safe – and got an up-close look at the emergency vehicles! 🚒🚓

Thank you to the Susquehanna Township Police Department and Progress Fire 32 for spending time with LHM Foundation! We’re grateful for the opportunity to strengthen our partnerships with the broader community.

🌟Volunteer Spotlight: Meet Beth!🌟

Beth, a retired teacher’s aide in the Camp Hill School District, has been married to her husband, Rich, for 40 years. Together, they have four children and 10 grandchildren! Beth cherishes spending time with her grandchildren, and in the summers the entire family enjoys being together at Lake Chautauqua in upstate New York.

From a young age, Beth’s parents instilled in her the importance of giving back to others. As a result, Beth has always had a passion for volunteer work.

Expressing how much she enjoys being a member of the Horizons Beam Teams, Beth says: “It has been amazing to be given the opportunity to volunteer with a community of professionals that strongly believe in helping others who are experiencing hardships while trying to get back into permanent housing for themselves and their families.”

Thank you, Alera Group Central PA team!

Alera Group’s Mechanicsburg and Lancaster offices recently held a donation drive to collect essential items for LHM Foundation’s Horizons transitional housing program. They collected everything from paper towels to backpacks to hand soap and more!

LHM Foundation relies on the generosity of donors to ensure that program participants have access to the everyday necessities as they work toward housing stability. 🧻 🗑️ 🫧
