Chambers Hill Fire Company Election Day Food

Chambers Hill Fire Company will hold its semi-annual Election Day food sale at the firehouse at 6400 Chambers Hill Road, Swatara Twp. starting at 7 a.m. Tuesday, May 19 until sold out.
Whoever you vote for – even if you aren’t voting at our firehouse on Tuesday – you can vote for our delicious homemade food! EVERYONE is welcome to purchase our food and help our firehouse. Come to the SWATARA ROOM (the small hall) for your food.
We will be serving three homemade soups — beef vegetable, broccoli/cheddar and chicken corn. We also are selling pigs in a blanket (cabbage rolls), beef barbecue sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, macaroni and cheese and baked goods.
Proceeds support this all-volunteer fire company.

Time for Chambers Hill Fire Company Kickin’ Chicken!
Chambers Hill Fire Company will launch its 2026 drive-through “Kickin’ Chicken” barbecue season Saturday, May 9 at the firehouse at 6400 Chambers Hill Road, Swatara Twp.
Dinners will be available by 10:15 a.m. or maybe sooner, depending on when the chickens are done. The sale runs until dinners are sold out. Meals, which cost $10, include a half chicken, baked potato and corn.
Other 2026 chicken barbecue dates are May 30, June 20, July 18, Aug. 1 and Sept. 12.
Fire company members make their own barbecue rub, apply it to the chickens, marinate them in the refrigerator and then grill them to perfection. Proceeds benefit this all-volunteer fire company.

New Year’s Pork & Sauerkraut Dinner

Chambers Hill Fire Company will celebrate the arrival of 2026 by holding its annual “all you can eat” Pork and Sauerkraut New Year’s Day dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 1 at the firehouse at 6400 Chambers Hill Road, Swatara Twp.
Dinners are available as sit down or to go.
The meal will include pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, green beans, apple sauce, dessert and beverage, including the popular Chambers Hill Sparkle. Cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children ages 6 and under. Proceeds will benefit this all-volunteer fire company
