I want to share with you a personal journey that has led to the creation of an exciting new chapter in my life – the founding of the Conservative Ladies of Pennsylvania. This isn't about stepping beyond the realm of school board matters; it's about responding to a higher calling and addressing issues that resonate deeply with my beliefs and values.
For a long time, I felt a strong urge to contribute more significantly to the discussions and actions shaping our community and nation. The school board and Moms for Liberty was a starting point, a place where I learned the importance of voice and engagement. But as I interacted with more people, I realized broader issues were at stake, ones that needed a dedicated platform and a collective voice.
The foundation of the group is built upon five core missions, each essential in its own right and collectively representing the values we stand for:
First Amendment Rights: Belief in the fundamental right to freedom of speech, religion, and expression. It's crucial to protect these liberties to ensure a thriving, democratic society.
Second Amendment Rights: Commitment to the right to bear arms is unwavering. We advocate for responsible gun ownership and the preservation of this constitutional right.
Parental Rights: Parents should have a primary role in the upbringing and education of their children. Support policies that enhance parental involvement and decision-making in their children’s education and welfare.
Education: A strong educational system is the backbone of a prosperous society. We aim to promote educational standards that align with our values and prepare the next generation for future challenges.
The Right to Life: We firmly stand for the sanctity of life, advocating for policies and practices that protect life at all stages.
Embarking on this journey fills me with immense excitement and a sense of purpose. The Conservative Ladies of Pennsylvania isn’t just an organization; it’s a movement. A movement where like-minded women (and men) can unite, voice their opinions, and effect change.
