YWCA Greater Harrisburg was founded in 1894 to create a safe place for young working women to live and gather. Today the agency provides secure housing as well as comprehensive services for women, children and men. The YWCA is the leading women's organization in the Capital Region, serving Dauphin, Cumberland, and Perry Counties. Staff work tirelessly to fulfill our mission to empower women and ch

We've got a dozen great baskets for sale in our silent auction at the Junior Board Happy Hour this Thursday night! If you're looking for a great day at Hersheypark, gardening supplies, a fun family night at a Harrisburg Senators game, a fun day with friends on the golf course, or some new car cleaning supplies, join us May 21 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Harrisburg Country Club and place some bids! A few tickets are still available at JBHappyHour.givesmart.com for $35/per person ($45 at the door). Tickets include appetizers and one free drink ticket.

Proceeds benefit the YWCA's Child Development Programs which include summer camp field trips for kids to local attractions like Lake Tobias, Hersheypark and Hershey Gardens.

Thank you to Capital Blue Cross for their large donation of baby items for our housing and emergency shelter programs. Over the past few months, they collected supplies for new moms - including diapers, wipes, baby clothes, nursing pads, blankets, clothing and more! We are grateful for their support! 💜
