Central PA Chapter Scholarship Announcement

The Central PA Chapter of IFMA is proud to be offering scholarships for the 2019-2020 academic year.

We are awarding $6,000.00 to qualified students pursuing degrees in Facility Management or related fields. The dollar amount of the individual awards will be based on the number of applicants deemed worthy by a panel of seasoned Facility Managers.

This is our first year of many to come offering a local scholarships thanks to the success of the Golf Outing!

We are willing to extend the application deadline until February 20, 2019 because of an administrative delay on our end. If you know someone who could apply – please share this information and application.

Parking instructions for our Annual Meeting Today at Allenberry. We are meeting in the Map Room:
There are various signs around the property to direct guests. They will want to park in the main lot, which is to the right as you enter the driveway, next to the Fairfield Building. The event space is located inside that main building. As you enter, the front desk is in front of you, and they can also help direct guests as to where to go!

It’s that time again! Nominations for Chapter Awards and Chapter Officers are now open! This is your chance to nominate exceptional performers in our local area and give them the recognition they richly deserve! The deadline for nominations is May 18, 2018.

The following chapter officer positions are available for 2018-2019 fiscal year. For more information on officer positions, please reach out to the current chapter officers, found here.

If you'd like to have your name added to the ballot for a chapter officer position, please email Lauren Leipziger. The nomination period will run through Friday, May 18th.

We are also looking for someone to lead our Program Chair Committee as our Program Chair, Beth Peiffer has decided this is her last year serving in this position. Beth has served as Chairperson of this committee for 7 years and has done an phenomenal job. This position is key to our chapter's success and membership. Please send your interest or questions about this committee to anyone of the chapter officers. Beth has served as Chairperson of this committee for 7 years.
