Amazon Indigenous People May Hold a Key to Slowing Down Aging

Scientific studies show the Tsimane indigenous people of the Bolivian Amazon experience far less brain atrophy than their American and European peers. Accelerated brain volume loss can be a sign of dementia. Researchers say a sedentary lifestyle and diet rich in sugars and fats may accelerate the loss of brain tissue with age and increase vulnerability to diseases like Alzheimer’s. The Tsimane have little or no access to health care but are very physically active and consume a high-fiber diet that includes vegetables, fish, and lean meat. https://bit.ly/3i6n9AA

Tsimane people are unique for their healthy brains that age more slowly. A team of international researchers has found that the Tsimane indigenous people of the Bolivian Amazon experience less brain atrophy than their American and European peers. The decrease in their brain volumes with age is 70

Been trying to call you my check has not arrive the rest of the country is working why not you called left messages nothing returned
I am a retiree, and I need to speak with someone. No one is answering the phones, or returning voice mails, and your message system here is not working.
can anyone guide me online to request a proof of income/benefit letter....please and thank you
When is the SERS website going to be updated with retirement info from 2019? I just checked it again this evening and it only lists up to 2018.
I hope an early out option is thought about more seriously this budget year due to the Corona virus causing so many financial setbacks. I have 33 years of service and would be interested in retiring without penalty. This will save PA some $$$.
This system is a joke. I need to speak to someone about my direct deposit and when calling the toll free number, no one answers and there is no way to leave a message. Everything on the contact pages relates to the 800 number which isn't staffed. I hope I can get my pension deposited since I have a bank issue but so much for 25 years of dedicated service to the Commonwealth which isn't there to assist me as a retiree in my time of need.
As you may be aware, the state is taking a new approach to school improvement which draws upon Regional Improvement Teams of experienced educators to help facilitate and support a more localized approach to continuous improvement among our Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) designated schools. An important role within these teams is the Core Team Member, educators specialized in a specific content area providing assistance in the creation and implementation of an associated evidence-based improvement plan. Right now we are seeking qualified, experienced educators in the areas of: School Climate English Language Arts Mathematics Data Analysis MTSS Family/community engagement More information can be found online at www.cciu.org/CSI. Any questions can be forwarded to Mary Franciscus at the Chester County Intermediate Unit at [email protected].
