Located in Washington Township, The Simanski Family Farm, was established in 1912, and is currently owned and operated by William and Kimberly Simanski. Congratulations to the Stine family of Halfmoon Township, Centre County, recipients of a Bicentennial Farm Award from the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture at the 2026 Penn State's Ag Progress Days! To receive a bicentennial designation a farm must be owned by the same family for two hundred years, consist of at least ten acres of the original holding or grosses more than one thousand dollars annually from the sale of farm products and has a family member residing on the farm on a permanent basis. The Stine Family can trace the farms history back to 1813! Congratulations and best wishes for another 200 years!
