COME OUT THIS MORNING

We will have a representative flying in from Chicago to discuss gene therapy for sickle cell disease and provide important educational information that could impact our community.

In addition, we’ll have a nurse practitioner from Penn State Health speaking, along with other impactful guest speakers sharing information on mental health, donor awareness, and personal experiences.

* A free buffet meal will also be provided for all attendees.*

We would love to see you there and encourage you to bring family or friends who may benefit from this important conversation.

Excited to have the amazing Taylor J. Bryant as a guest speaker tomorrow.

She will be speaking on the impact that medical trauma and health diagnoses can have on an individual’s mental health, and why emotional wellness is such an important part of the healing journey.

Today was hard. I visited an 8th grader in the hospital fighting the unbearable pain of sickle cell disease after 6 weeks in the hospital. No child should have to endure this.

This is why awareness, advocacy, education, and support matter. Sickle cell is real. The pain is real. Families need compassion, resources, research, and a community that stands with them.

Every conversation, donation, and act of support makes a difference. We will keep fighting for our warriors and making sure their voices are heard.
