The Center is open by appointment, offering the neighbors in Allison Hill a safe respite from the stresses of the neighborhood. Gather the Spirit for Justice is a 501c3 created to support the good work of the Common Ground Community Center

The Gather the Guitars team would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who came out to support Gather the Spirit at this year’s event on February 8, 2026, held at the Abbey Bar at Appalachian Brewing Company.
We were honored to enjoy performances by Megan Miller, Matt Jameson, Vince Rollins, and special guest Deanna Grahl Witzel, whose talent helped make the event truly memorable.
Events like this are only possible because of a caring community. Thank you for helping us continue the work of Gather the Spirit.
