A kind citizen found a backpack yesterday (April 1st) in the area of 15th and Derry Streets. Since there were no identifying names or information inside, they were unable to return it to its owner. If this backpack belongs to you, it is currently being held at the Hill Substation located at 313 S. 15th Street. Please visit the Substation to describe the contents of the bag and claim it.

Mayor Wanda Williams, in coordination with Park Harrisburg's Nancy Keim, is offering all city residents FREE PARKING at the 214 Locust Street Garage.

The free parking is available from now until 8am Tuesday morning.

Please consider taking advantage of this offer so that Public Works can pretreat and maintain safe roadways.

Public Works will begin their work at 3-4am and will also be collecting refuse while treating city streets.

Brrr, it’s chilly! ❄️ Our pets feel the cold too. Keep them indoors during extreme cold and limit outdoor trips. If you go out, dress them in pet-friendly sweaters, jackets, or booties to keep them warm and protect their paws. 🐾

If you notice signs of cold stress (shivering, lethargy), warm them up ASAP and contact a vet if needed. 🐕
