Flash Flood Warning until 11:45 PM EDT for Dauphin County and northwestern Lebanon County, PA. Thunderstorms are producing heavy rain with 1 to 2 inches already and more possible, causing flash flooding of small creeks, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses. Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads.

As students across Dauphin County start a new school year, drivers will be seeing more school buses along their daily commute.

While driving, you should remember the following tips:

🛑 Motorists must stop at least 10 feet away from school buses that have their red lights flashing and stop arm activated.
🛑 Motorists following or traveling alongside a school bus must also stop until the red lights have stopped flashing, the stop arm is withdrawn, and all children have reached safety.
🛑 Give school buses extra space, even when driving.

This morning Fire Police from multiple departments in Dauphin County, PA assisted with traffic control for the Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Hummelstown, PA. Well Done! 🇺🇸👏

A big thank you to the T2T Committee for all of the hard work, planning, and heart that went into making this event possible. Thank you as well to Hummelstown Borough Council for your support of this event!

This day was a meaningful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together to honor our heroes, serve others, and never forget.

We are so grateful for each person who gave their time, energy, and leadership to help bring the Tunnel to Towers Hummelstown 5K Run & Walk to life.

Due to an active structure fire on Morgan Drive, residents are asked to avoid the Rosedale Avenue area while emergency crews are responding and working on scene.

Please use alternate routes and exercise caution if traveling near the area.
