🚨 ACT NOW: Oppose House Bill 501 🚨

The PA House just advanced legislation that threatens our energy independence, weakens grid reliability, and could raise electricity costs by $6 billion over the next five years.

House Bill 501—Governor Shapiro’s PRESS Plan—would make us more reliant on foreign supply chains and undermine Pennsylvania’s competitive energy market.

📣 Don’t let this costly energy mandate become law - tell your lawmakers you support affordable, reliable, and locally produced energy.

“Clean water, reliable food sources, and robust infrastructural improvements are only possible with energy policies that expand America’s load capacity and lower costs for consumers and businesses alike,” writes GOPAC Chairman David Avella in a recent RealClearEnergy article.

In the piece, Avella urges, “For human prosperity, this U.S. Senate should promptly confirm Chris Wright as our country’s next Energy Secretary.”

He also emphasizes, “Chris Wright isn’t just an advocate for responsible energy policy – he’s an advocate for humanity. He understands that energy is the foundation for measurable advancements that lift up the impoverished, feed the hungry, and shelter the homeless.”

Hispanic voters were pivotal in Pennsylvania’s 2024 elections, shifting Republican by 14% and flipping key districts red. From Hazleton to Philadelphia, working-class voters drove this historic change. Carl Marrara of the Pennsylvania Manufacturers' Association explained: “Jobs, inflation, and public safety were top of mind for almost every voter in our commonwealth. In the Hispanic community, these issues have been amplified, and for the last four years, Democrats have failed on every front.”

He added, “It’s being recognized among Hispanic voters and all voters that Republicans are the party of the working class for economic growth and opportunity, and for law and order.”

But as Albert Eisenberg notes, now is no time to rest. “Holding onto these new supporters will require planning and engagement—starting now.” Grassroots outreach, bilingual offices, and media campaigns are vital to continue building trust and ensuring progress with these key voters.

In the Pennsylvania House, all eyes are on Cambria County, where a software/printing malfunction forced precincts to use paper ballots. The county hosts the state's most-watched race, as Republican Amy Bradley challenges Democrat Frank Burns, who currently holds a 1,000-vote lead after mail-in ballots. However, day-of voting has favored Republicans, and converting the paper ballots to scannable ones is still underway. Meanwhile, in Northeast Philly, Democrat Sean Dougherty leads Aizaz Gill by fewer than 500 votes. If results hold, the PA House would be tied 101-101, with Cambria’s 72nd District determining the majority.
