🚨 ‼️ Significant severe weather expected to move in around 3-4pm today. All modes of weather are possible ‼️ 🚨

Tomorrow is a good day to be weather aware!

🌪️TORCON INCREASED TO 7🌪️

-The TORCON for Sunday has been upped to a 7 in parts of Iowa, South Dakota, and Nebraska. This is a medium/high risk for tornadoes in a fairly isolated spot, but they may be intense and long-lived. Be ready to take immediate action when warnings are issued. Storms will occur late afternoon/evening and head east overnight.

-TORCON 4-5 from Minnesota to Northern Kansas. This is a medium risk for tornadoes, and be aware that many of these storms could happen after dark. Have a safe place to shelter when storms hit.

-What is TORCON? It stands for “Tornado Condition Index”. It’s a 1-10 scale that ranks your tornado risk. The lower the number, the lower the risk. The higher the number, the higher the risk.

-Monday looks pretty rough too. I’ll post more updates later.
