“When I lost my kids, I lost myself...”
Kenyetta’s reunification journey was not easy. After years of addiction, instability, and feeling alone, she reached a breaking point and prayed for change. From there, she began rebuilding her life one step at a time through recovery, support, and determination.
In 2023, she began supervised visits with her son at Coyote Hill’s Family Connections Home. Week after week, she showed up. Even when progress felt slow. Even when reunification felt impossible.
Today, Kenyetta is home with her son and cherishes the ordinary moments she once feared she’d never have again. 💙
