Lifethrutech LifeThruTech is a mentoring program that is designed to build digital literacy and digital citizenship through STEAM (STEM+Art) workshops. LifeThruTech is a mentoring program that is designed to build digital literacy and digital citizenship within communities of disadvantaged youth and young adults.

We envision helping that user group become capacity builders of technology in their community, rather than static consumers. All the time of understanding LIFE = Living In Fulfilled Excellence.

Mission: The L.I.F.E. nonprofit started in Erie, PA with Corey Cook and Justin Williams. Mr. Jay has returned to his Harrisburg roots to encourage the underserved population of youth with LifeThruMusic. Their mission of and of the LIFE Programs focuses on breaking the cycle of poverty, violence, crime, prison, and substandard living that affects disadvantaged youth and young adult populations in the United States.

ATTN: HSD High School Students - The Oliver LaGrone Scholarship 2020-21 Application
The mission of The Oliver LaGrone Scholarship Committee is to generate, broaden, and nurture post-secondary aspirations of Harrisburg School District students by providing personal support and advocacy; providing financial assistance for post-secondary education; involving Unitarian Church of Harrisburg members in action toward this purpose; and maintaining the legacy of Oliver LaGrone as the inspiration for the Scholarship.

APPLICATION IMPORTANT DATES for 2020:
- Application Deadline: 3/16/20
- Announcement of Selection: 4/16/20
- Award Ceremony: A Sunday in late May

WHO SHOULD APPLY:
- You are a student the Harrisburg Public High Schools or a graduate of the Harrisburg School District (graduates must apply within five years of their graduation)
- You are an applicant at an accredited post-secondary institution such as a college, business school, technical school, school of nursing, or an institute of fine arts
- You are motivated to continue your education despite obstacles
- You can demonstrate financial need
- You have gained knowledge and skills from life that will help you succeed in the future
