Fresh out of high school, he has taken the first step toward an exciting future by enlisting in the 127th Wing as an Avionics Test Station, Components, and Electronic Warfare Systems specialist (AFSC 2A0X1). This career field plays a vital role in maintaining and testing the advanced electronic systems that keep our aircraft mission ready. ✈️

He’s excited for the opportunity to travel, gain hands-on experience, receive world-class technical training, and build skills that directly translate into rewarding civilian careers. On top of that, he’ll be able to pursue a college degree with education benefits that can help pay for school—setting him up for success both in and out of uniform.

The Freedom Plane arrived carrying nine original Founding-era documents from the US National Archives to the Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) in celebration of America 250.

The documents are now on their way to The Henry Ford, where they’ll be on display July 9-26 as part of America’s 250th anniversary celebration.

We're proud we could help welcome this historic collection to Michigan.
