It takes a lot to prepare our building for the school year. Much of the work happens behind-the-scenes and over the summer. We sincerely appreciate Mr. Sheridan and Mr. Stouder for all their hard work preparing our building and technology for the school year. Thank You!

Curriculum Night (also called open house or meet the teacher night) will take place on Thursday, 9/10 from 6-8 pm. All parents will assemble in the cafeteria for the first 15 minutes for a presentation from the principal. Parents will then follow their child’s schedule and visit each classroom for a short presentation from each teacher. This is a great evening to learn the basics about each of your child’s classes and meet his/her teachers. Please be aware, however, that time will not be available for individual conferences on this evening. If you wish to conduct a one-on-one conference, please contact the school and we will set up a meeting or phone call with your child’s teachers. Students will be coming home with an informational sheet, including their schedule, on Thursday. Please ask for this or bring your student’s printed schedule, as we will not be able to print schedules for everyone.
This is a Family Event – we will have ice cream in the cafeteria for everyone at 7:45pm. Bring your kids, meet all your child’s teachers, have an ice cream, and visit us here at South.

Thank you to our Student Council advisors for the beautiful flower pots. They planted them this summer and have been coming in to water them for weeks. The flowers are so beautiful that the butterflies just can’t stay away!

Sunshine, games, friends, and ice cream — the perfect recipe for an awesome Annual Field Day! Students spent the day playing basketball, football, volleyball, and our highly anticipated staff vs. student kickball game (spoiler alert: staff took the win). Add in school wide BINGO, an ice cream truck and lots of laughs with friends, and it was the perfect way to celebrate the end of an amazing school year!
