To all my friends, family and supporters,

I would like to start off by thanking everyone for their support and for allowing me the opportunity to be your Mayor. It’s been the most challenging yet rewarding experience in my lifetime and I hope I’ve earned your vote this year for a chance to be your Mayor for 2 more years.

Your collective contributions have made my campaign possible to run again in hopes of being re-elected as mayor. Through donations, events, signs, and the power of social media, you’ve helped me reach even more voters than I could have ever imagined. Everyone has gone above and beyond to extend support for myself, and the Republican ticket and spread the word. Even more this year, despite what you may see, everyone has truly come together and helped make a big difference in keeping our hard-working community alive.

My gratitude for all your support does not come close to words, so I will close by saying this. I’m here, running to hopefully be re-elected as your next Mayor/Supervisor of Harrison to stand up and advocate and protect the great Town of Harrison. The safety, well-being and integrity of our town is and always will be my top priority as your Mayor. While this campaign has been yet again, one for the books, it’s in the difficult times that we truly see just how strong a force we are, and not to be underestimated. Let’s get out there, use our voices, Vote November 7 and show everyone what being a Harrisonite is all about 🇺🇸

Thank you,
Rich

To all my friends, family and supporters,

November 5, 2023: A message from Voters for the Right Team!

Disinformation Drives Political Dysfunction

The 2023 Election has now reached a level of “Dysfunction” based on the amount of “Disinformation” that has been spread by Ron Belmont and Mark Jaffe. It clearly demonstrates how desperate both candidates are to win the election.

Ron Belmont is desperate to regain “POWER”

Mark Jaffe is desperate to become a “POLITICIAN”

Belmont & Jaffe are NOT interested in what is best for residents, taxpayers, or the Town. “Facts” do not support their claims. They have defamed successful businesses that have serviced the Town for years! No business or individual wants to be called out for being corrupt simply because they donated to a campaign. Many people in the Town believe that Belmont and Jaffe have defamed these reputable businesses and will not be surprised if they are sued.

Calling the “Incumbent Candidate” Corrupt is the Oldest Political Strategy in Politics

By attacking Dionisio’s Administration, they have indicted every member of the Town Board and have questioned their integrity. Rich Dionisio is NOT a dictator and the Town Board must vote on all Bids, Contracts and Consulting projects. Rich Dionisio has ONLY one vote and the four Trustees have to approve the work done for the Town.

Why has Ron Belmont & Mark Jaffe not provided real evidence of how the “Pay to Play Scheme” worked and how the Town Board was compromised under Dionisio? REASON: No corruption exists in the Town Government under Dionisio and the Town Board was not compromised during his first term in office.

No Proof Exists Based on No Corruption!

What Belmont & Jaffe have accomplished based on their disinformation campaign and disparaging attacks is questioning the integrity of the Town Board. The basic foundation of the Town government has been attacked with blatant disregard for how it functions moving forward. Belmont & Jaffe have ruthlessly attacked the Town Board who are good citizens, devoted residents, and professionals.

Belmont’s & Jaffe’s Reckless Behavior has Serious Consequences

Their reckless behavior will impact how the Town Board functions in the future because they are destroying the community’s “TRUST” in the government by spreading FALSE and MALICIOUS information intended to harm Rich Dionisio, the Town Board and his administration.

Belmont & Jaffe cannot attack Dionisio’s accomplishments because no Mayor before him has made more contributions during their first year in office:

· Town savings under Dionisio’s Administration grew from $69.2 million to $82 Million for an increase of 18.4%

· Kept taxes low so Town Board approved 1.58% Tax increase while maintaining Moody’s AAA rating and 2024’s increase will be under 1%

· Harrison Meadows Country Club revitalized by Dionisio’s leadership into a well-managed, profitable & phenomenal successful golf club

· Town awarded $2.6 million dollars in state funding to address flooding issues

· Invested in Harrison Police Department by adding six new police officers to keep Harrison Residents safe

· One of the few towns in NYS to authorized “EpiPen” and “Narcan” training for police officers to fight allergic reactions, cardiac arrest, and opioid overdose

· Reorganized Department of Public Works to save over $475,000 in operating costs

· Finalized the plans of New Sollazzo Recreation Center and approved the best financial strategy to fund the construction

· Fixed storm-drain system in high-risk flood zones and worked with state officials to improve stormwater infrastructure with more projects to follow in 2024

· Created & Approved Tax benefits for veterans and First-Responders to recognize their service and provide tax help so they can live in Harrison

Harrison has prospered under Rich Dionisio’s leadership and outstanding first-term results. With the support of the Town Board, Harrison will continue to grow economically as new businesses and residents expand the community to make Harrison a great place to live.
