Call Log 2026-062: This morning around 7:25 am, the Harmon Fire Department provided automatic aid to Valley Springs Fire Department for a residential structure fire. We provided manpower and tanker support. Units were on scene for approximately four hours. We responded with one tanker and seven personnel. Harrison Fire Department, Capps-Batavia Fire Department, and Bergman Volunteer Fire Department also provided assistance.

Call Log 2026-061: Yesterday evening around 7:06 pm, the Harmon Fire Department provided automatic aid to Valley Springs Fire Department for a residential structure fire. We provided manpower and tanker support. Units were on scene for approximately five hours. We responded with one tanker and six personnel. We were awarded the 2025 Wildland Fire Suppression Grant kit through the Arkansas Forestry Division today. The kit includes ten sets of wildland coveralls, ten wildland fire gloves, two backpack leaf blowers, two collapsible backpack pumps, two McLeod rakes, and four leaf rakes. This equipment will replace aging and outdated equipment on our brush trucks and outfit our firefighters with wildland gear. Thank you to the Arkansas Forestry Division for their continued support for rural fire departments.
