Job Opening: Election Coordinator / Deputy County Clerk

Boone County Clerk’s Office – Harrison, Arkansas

The Boone County Clerk’s Office is accepting applications for the position of Election Coordinator, serving as a Deputy County Clerk. This is a full-time position responsible for assisting in the administration, preparation, and management of county elections.

Primary Responsibilities

· Coordinate all aspects of county elections in compliance with state and federal law

· Manage, train, and support poll workers

· Prepare, transport, and set up election equipment

· Work with mapping systems, voter databases, and election software

· Assist the public with election-related inquiries

· Perform additional duties within the County Clerk’s Office as assigned

Requirements

· Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening

· Ability to lift, move, and transport heavy election equipment

· Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new programs

· Ability to read and understand maps and precinct boundaries

· Excellent organizational and communication skills

· Ability to work extended hours during election periods

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience working in elections, government, or administrative roles

· Familiarity with GIS or mapping software

· Supervisory or training experience
