Boone County Senior Activity and Wellness Center Lunch: M-F 11:30-12
Transportation: M-F 8-1pm (with the exception of days we go on trips)

Those services are:
TRANSPORTATION
Persons are transported either in groups or individually as the need arises. Transportation is provided to and from the center, to doctor appointments and for local shopping needs. HEALTH AND WELLNESS
There are evidence based health and wellness programs to help seniors age successfully. These include Silver Sneakers; Extension Get Fit, PEPPI; Tai Chi; and etc. A

rts and crafts, table games, puzzles, computers, Wii games, Beanbag Baseball, and Bingo are just a few of the activities that take place at the center. Trips away from the center are also planned for seniors. HOME DELIVERED MEALS
Meals on Wheels—Meals are delivered to the homes of frail or disabled persons who are unable to go to the senior center and who cannot prepare nutritious meals for themselves. There meals contain one-third of the recommended dietary intake. Nutrition education materials are also provided in the home. CONGREGATE MEALS
Hot, nutritious meals are served daily. These meals contain one-third of the daily recommended dietary intake. Nutrition education programs are regularly scheduled as an integral part of the service.

We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who attended our Brisket Dinner this evening. The event was a success, and we appreciate your support for our Meals on Wheels Program. Your participation is truly valued and means a great deal to us. Unfortunately, we ran out of dessert for some of our guests, and we apologize for the inconvenience. We will ensure to have more prepared for future events. Thank you again for making this night a huge success.
