At the regular meeting of the Rockingham County Board of Supervisors on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room of the Rockingham County Administration Center, 20 East Gay Street, Harrisonburg, Virginia, a public hearing will be held to receive comments on the following:
REZONING REQUESTS
REZ26-0272 Rockingham County requests to rezone 4.11 acres from A-2 (General Agricultural) to RV (Rural Village). The properties are located at 9434 and 9410 Singers Glen Road, Singers Glen, VA. Tax Map # 62-A-65 and 62-A-65A. Election District 2.
REZ26-0433 Village of the Valley LLC requests to amend the proffers on two parcels totaling 1.595 acres, zoned B-1 C (General Business with Conditions). The properties are located at 11702 and 11706 Spotswood Trail, Elkton, VA. Tax Map # 129-6-2 and 129-6-3. Election District 5.
ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
OA26-0426 Staff generated ordinance amendment to the Rockingham County Code, Chapter 17 (Zoning Ordinance), Section 17-702.03 and Table 17-702.03, General Parking Requirements, and Section 17-702.04, Non-Standard Parking Requirements.
