LGBTQ Pride Month is a national, annual celebration in June to honor the LGBTQ+ community. It is a time for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies to celebrate diversity; promote inclusivity; and raise awareness about LGBTQ+ rights, issues and experiences within the community.

Congratulations to the five JMU faculty members who were recently awarded JMU Libraries’ summer stipends for transitioning to open educational resources (OER)! Sara Bianco, Feixue Mei, Jingyi Zhang, Jeannie Harding, and Kevin Flint will teach their redesigned courses in the 2026-27 year.

Beautiful May weather means lots of outside time, and JMU's Edith J. Carrier Arboretum is the heart of nature on campus! The folks over there at the Arboretum put together a book display in Rose Library to help you explore the outdoors in different ways.
