“Do what is good and run from evil so that you may live! Then the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies will be your helper, just as you have claimed. Hate evil and love what is good; turn your courts into true halls of justice. Perhaps even yet the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies will have mercy on the remnant of his people.”
‭‭Amos‬ ‭5:14-15‬ ‭

He will come riding on the clouds
With Justice in his heart
And a sword upon his side
And all will see the glory of this man
With fire in his eyes
He's jealous for his bride

MIXING GRACE WITH WORKS

The verses above are in connection with the parable of the persistent widow. The widow was the symbol of all who were poor and defenseless. It is very obvious that she had no resources of any kind and had no hope of justice from such a judge. God does not like unjust judge. There is no reason why we should expect to get whatever we ask for – only God sees time whole, and therefore only God knows what is good for us in the long run. This is why Jesus said to never be discouraged in prayer. God knows our needs and when we have offered our prayers and requests having said His will be done we must not grow weary in prayer and our faith must not falter. Justice given by man can be biased but justice given by God is wholesome.

Dear God,
We pray for those who feel hopeless, for those whose hearts are weighed down by sorrow and those who do not feel loved. We pray that you will be the light in our darkness that we might reflect your light in the dark corners of our world. - Amen

“Let the first act of every morning be to make the following resolve for the day:
- I shall not fear anyone on Earth.
- I shall fear only God.
- I shall not bear ill will toward anyone.
- I shall not submit to injustice from anyone.
- I shall conquer untruth by truth. And in resisting untruth, I shall put up with all suffering.”
― Mahatma Gandhi
“Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭18:7-8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Yield to His ways!!!

Jesus' Sermon on the Mount begins by talking about the kingdom of heaven. Jesus is telling about the wonder and goodness of living under the sovereignty of God. He is speaking about the kingdom as a present and future reality. So who are those who are blessed in the kingdom of heaven? And why are they blessed? To be blessed is to be wealthy, have good health, be secure and protected and have great success in one’s endeavors. These are the qualities we tend to associate with being blessed. But Jesus is encouraging us to see that He is helping us to make our longings like His own.

The beatitude demands self-examination of us. Is our service given from selfless motives or from motives of self-display? Jesus promises the kingdom to the powerless, the oppressed who hold close the poverty of their condition by trusting in God rather than favors from the influential for their deliverance. How blest are those who show mercy for mercy shall be shown to them. The inequities of this world cannot forever put down the justice of God: he will ultimately vindicate the oppressed. This promise provides us both hope to work for justice and grace to endure the hard path of love.

Dear God,
Help us to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness and walk joyfully in the way of Your blessing. We ask you to help us live in the harmony of life in the spirit. We yield ourselves to the beatitudes and in living so we find ourselves different. We thank you Lord. - Amen

The more we live and try to practice the Sermon on the Mount, the more shall we experience blessing. - David Martyn Lloyd Jones

“And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:1-8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’ “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:35-40‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Please pray For The Justice of God to Rain in Honduras. Please pray for Gods Protection over this missionary as she has found herself right in the middle of this terrible injustice..God has a plan, pray that it would come forth, God specialize in rescue work!
Psalm 82

This is her post asking for prayer:
I find myself unintentionally in the middle of Human Trauma situations caused by Human Trafficking.

Children have been stolen from their mothers at the hospital at birth. Poor mothers who were unable to fight for themselves and their children have been the victims. They were told that their children died at birth. Some were told on repeat visits when the child was sick that the child had died. The mothers were told that the bodies of the children would NOT be returned but would be used by medical students to teach them medicine.

I have found several of these situations accidently. I am sure God has a purpose.

One DNA sample of mother and child show that they are NOT family, yet the mother’s identification, address, everything was used on the adoption paperwork. However, someone else showed up at court to sign, because the mother only knew that her child was dead and that she received no body. She never went to court for anything. She did not know until recently that her name had been used in the adoption paperwork.

The adoptive family is furious and rightly so! They will be filing charges from afar. This will most likely become an international event.

In another instance, the child was adopted out using the mothers’ real information.

The another case, the child was a twin and got sick. At 3 months old the mother went to the hospital, fell asleep and when she awoke, the doctor told her that the child had died but refused to give her a body. Later through the grapevine, she heard that the doctor had given the baby up for adoption. Now she wants to find her daughter.

There is much emotional trauma in each of these incidents.

Adopted kids have been hurt, robbed of their birth mothers and good honest people who adopted these children are thrown into the mess and hurting emotionally.

Siblings left behind because of corruption are hurt. Current adoptive siblings are hurt. The emotional trauma for everyone is real and palatable.

Please pray for the innocent people involved in these situations. I am trying the best I can to meld the families together. Some are Christians, but many are not. Some are open to extended family relationships others are not.

Children who "thought" they were rejected by their birth parents are finding that they were stolen and they are MAD.

Pray that God’s light will shine on each one of these cases. Pray that ALL the truth will come to light.

To give you an idea, only 7% of murder cases are solved in Honduras. And that is murders not child trafficking. The resources are limited.

Pray for justice.
