Download myStop to access HDPT’s bus routes, bus stops, and trip-planning tools all in one place! You can also track your bus in real time and see exactly when it will arrive at your stop.

This new platform is available now in a pilot phase and will fully replace our current app, Passio GO!, on August 1. Access myStop through the app or online at HDPT.RiderAlerts.com/myStop

After downloading the app, simply search for “Harrisonburg” to find local routes.

During the pilot phase, which runs until August 1, please feel welcome to share feedback about myStop and its functionality directly with HDPT staff via the app.

And remember: Riding the bus is easy and free. No cards to swipe, nothing to scan—just hop on!

City of Harrisonburg offices will be closed Monday, May 25, 2026 in observance of Memorial Day.

Wishing everyone a safe holiday weekend, taking time to remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country.

Additional city service changes:
There will be no HDPT- Harrisonburg Department of Public Transportation bus service on Memorial Day.
Trash for Monday, May 25, will be collected on Tuesday, May 26.
There will be no bulk and yard debris collection for Monday, May 25, and Tuesday, May 26.
The Recycling Convenience Center and Mobile Unit will be closed on Monday, May 25.

City offices will reopen Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 8:00am.

Our summer schedule begins next Monday, May 18!

JMU Summer Gold & Silver operate Mondays through Fridays, 7am to 7pm.

City Routes will operate every 30 minutes Mondays through Fridays, from 6:30am to 10:45pm. Normal service hours on Saturdays.

Service details (routes 1 - 6):

Due to this road work, the ICS route will detour to avoid Grace St. when leaving Memorial Hall to go to the Quad and East Campus.

Students living at Grace St Apartments or parking in the Chesapeake Parking deck to use the bus should catch the ICS at Memorial Hall or Wampler Hall bus shelters.

UPDATE: Route 4 and Yellow Line have resumed their normal route and schedules.

This road closure will impact Route 4 and Yellow Line.

Both routes will not be able to service stops in this area until the road opens. This includes the Phesant Run Apartments on Yellow Line.
