Happy New Year everyone! I’ve been dragging my feet to make this post but the time has come… Unfortunately the track is closed permanently. As much as I can’t believe it to be true, it is.

After 33 years of this piece of property being the local go to for riding your dirtbike has come to an end. I learned how to ride a dirtbike here, grew up with my closest friends riding here, became a professional racer and trained here 5 days a week. As I got older the track became more of just a playground for the locals a safe haven if you will. The focus was to maintain the track and make it safe for everyone especially the kiddos, that made me happiest the most was seeing them smile while riding their bikes just like I did on the same piece of property decades ago.

I want to get one thing clear, this isn’t me walking away from this place because I’m over it. It’s simply something I’m being forced to do and is completely out of my hands. My dad and his buddies started this place years ago and went through hell and back to fight with the county to have a place to ride their dirt bikes. Fast forward 20 years and the torch was passed to me to keep it operating and I will forever be thankful for that. It may sound crazy to some people but this piece of property shaped me as a man and kept me out of trouble as a kid and I maintained focus to become the best I could on my bike.

All I can say is, I’m sorry. It’s unfortunate that we don’t have more places to ride in this Valley and my heart is heavy for the kids chasing a dream just like I did and they don’t have a place to practice and improve their skills.

I want to thank everyone before me that made this place possible and kept it going for so long. I also want to express my appreciation for guys like Brandon Freeman for helping me out so much with this place over the years. Me and my small circle of friends have more wild memories here than anyone could imagine and if we had a penny for every lap we made, we would be billionaires.

I’m going to change the gate code Tuesday March 4th for the new riding year. I will start track maintenance in the next week or so as well! Come by Valley Motorsports and sign up!

For the few people that have already signed up, I will text you the gate code as soon as I change it.

$150 per person and $50 for each added family member living in the same household.

This could be a decently long one so settle in for a minute. First off thank you Brandon Freeman @ Branchin’ Out Earthworks LLC for the loyalty and the work that you put in for all the members over all these years. It doesn’t go unseen.

New for this year: we have an all new Stacyc / 50cc - 110cc track in the bottom left hand corner. Nothing bigger should be on that track, don’t ruin it for the kiddos.

The big track: It’s still going in the same direction but Brandon made some big changes and it looks like it should flow much better than before and be a very fun layout for every rider. Don’t be a hero take your time on the new layout!

The situation: We need rain bad and we all know this. It was very difficult for Brandon to get below the surface being as hard packed as it is which made it very difficult to shape and carve some sections. With that being said I would prefer we wait for some rain but it doesn’t look like we have any in the near future so if you decide you can’t hold in the urge to ride please be careful, it is very loose and there are some hidden rocks underneath that will work their way out. There is still work to do for sure so if you decide you want to help out a bit do a track walk and pile the rocks up in certain places, please don’t toss them as I mow most of the place with my zero turn.

Last but not least: Please treat this place like you would your own, this place has been in my life for as long as I can remember, I cherish this piece of property. It is where I learned to ride a dirt bike, where my childhood buddies and I spent most of our time in our teenage years and at 34 yrs old I still get a feeling that can’t be replaced when I pull through that gate. All I’m asking y’all is to respect it and don’t take it for granted, you would never be able to get something like this in this area these days.

Y’all have fun and be safe, this isn’t a race track, it is a place to sharpen your skills and to get seat time to be a better rider.

My last post got deleted bc it hurt some feelings so here it is again.

Stop leaving the gate open!!!! It’s literally the only thing I ask y’all to do, it’s open more than it’s closed and that’s pretty sad. Also I have given only a couple people permission to use a four wheeler to get from point A to point B. No quads are allowed on the track! 👍

We got the rain we wanted! All 27 current members have at it. Be safe and get used to the new layout, this is a practice track not a race track ✌️. We will continue to keep making it better within the next few weeks as far as dirt curing but once again Brandon Freeman killed it in such short time!

Hey Yall, The track is cut in and about 90% complete. Its very dry and clumpy ( we need some rain ) , tomorrows forecast looks like we might get some rain. I'm not gonna say you cant ride but would be cool if you didn't until we could shape it up.
