We have some bittersweet news for our Harrisonville Branch community 💛
After 10 wonderful years, Ms. Shannon will be leaving us this Friday, April 24, as she begins an exciting new chapter. Many of you already know her for that big smile, her funny stories, and the incredible knowledge she shared with everyone who walked through our doors.
While we are truly sad to see her go, we are also so happy for her and all that lies ahead. Her next adventure will still keep her connected to the community in some way—but we’ll let her share those details when she’s ready 😊
If you’ve attended her story times, joined her Teen programs, worked alongside her, or simply enjoyed her presence at the library over the years, we invite you to stop by and say goodbye. She would love to see you! Feel free to bring a card and share a favorite memory or note about what she has meant to you over the past decade.
Ms. Shannon’s last day is Friday, April 24. You can stop by anytime this week between 9am and 5pm.
Let’s send this incredible librarian off with all the love and appreciation she deserves 💐
