The Jesse M. Smith Memorial Library, 100 Tinkham Lane, will hold a program "Felting!" on Thursday, June 11,2026 from 6:00 to 7:30pm in the Community Room. Felting is done by using a barbed needle to transform wool into 3D creations. An oddly relaxing craft! Beginners welcome. 18+ Registration required. Call 401-710-7800.

Something is buzzing at the Jesse Smith Library. Introducing the library's new summer mascot, Bee Happy. The Summer Library Program, "Plant a Seed, Read" runs June 18 - Aug. 4, 2026. Programs are available for children, teens, and adults. Registration is done in person at the library. Sign ups begin Thursday, June 18 and are ongoing throughout the summer.

This evening's inclusive program can be enjoyed by all children, but is especially designed for children with sensory integration challenges. Open kids in grade 5 and under with an adult caregiver, Sensory Playtime will be offered in the Community Room (1st floor) of the Jesse Smith Library today Wed. May 27, 2026 from 6:00 - 7:00 PM. Families are invited to visit the library in a low stimulation environment. Children can engage in free play and sensory stations designed for their enjoyment. A calm atmosphere will be created for your child to feel at ease while experiencing the library.

Mon & Thur 9-3
Tues & Wed 2-8
