Due to dry conditions and an increased risk of wildfires, a burn ban is now in effect for Simpson County.

🔥 No outdoor burning is allowed at this time.

We ask everyone to please do their part to help keep our community safe. Even a small spark can quickly turn into a dangerous wildfire in these dry conditions.

Due to scheduling condlicts we had to postpone the Queen of Hearts drawing. We will draw Sunday, February 22. The pot is currently $1,700. Remember the more tickets we sell the higher the pot goes. How the drawing works: draw the Queen of Hearts you will half the pot, draw a Joker you will $100, and draw a random card you win a ticket for the next drawing. Tickets are $5 each. If you would like to purchase a ticket you can see any volunteer member. The money raised will go towards truck maintenance for our fire trucks.
