40 Under Forty Honoree Spotlight ✨ Congratulations to Abigail Bunch ('14, '15, '16)!

Abigail Bunch is a compassionate and forward-thinking Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly a decade of clinical experience across primary care, preventive medicine, aesthetics, and integrative wellness. She currently serves as Clinical Director and Lead Nurse Practitioner at Beautique Medical and Anti-Aging, Knoxville’s first Face, Mind, and Body Center, where she delivers elevated, patient-centered care that blends clinical precision with aesthetic artistry and innovation. Her clinical focus includes metabolic health, GLP-1 weight loss therapies, hormone optimization, and chronic disease prevention, alongside advanced aesthetic treatments designed to enhance confidence and overall well-being. Abigail is known for integrating evidence-based medicine with holistic and lifestyle-driven strategies to create meaningful, lasting results for her patients. As a cofounder of an upcoming Direct Primary Care practice launching in early 2027, Abigail is helping redefine access to care through a personalized, holistic approach focused on long-term outcomes and whole-person health. Her approach to medicine is deeply rooted in empathy, shaped by her personal journey through Infertility and IVF. She is married and a proud mother of two and is passionate about building both a life and a practice centered on purpose, presence, and impact. Abigail remains actively involved in professional organizations, including Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the Tennessee Nurse Practitioner Association.

40 Under Forty Honoree Spotlight ✨ Congratulations to Dr. William Beuerlein ('17)!

Dr. William J. Beuerlein is a dedicated physician with board certification in anatomic and clinical pathology. He completed his residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, where he was elected chief resident, and a surgical pathology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. In addition, he is well-published in the field of pathology. While serving as the Medical Director at Turkey Creek Medical Center Laboratory, he maintains his passion for teaching future doctors and serves on multiple committees within the hospital. Dr. Beuerlein is thankful for being able to serve his community while being a husband and father.

40 Under Forty Honoree Spotlight ✨ Congratulations to Dr. Katherine Bisceglia-Stotts ('09, '13, '15, '25)!

Dr. Katherine Bisceglia-Stotts is a dedicated educator and four-time graduate of Lincoln Memorial University, holding a Professional Teacher License in Elementary Education (K–6). She has served at J. Frank White Academy as a Kindergarten and upper elementary instructor, as well as Assistant Principal from 2021 to 2025. Katherine actively engages in ongoing professional development by attending conferences and training sessions across multiple subject areas. Beyond the classroom, she is deeply involved in her community, serving with the Middlesboro Community Vocal Ensemble, partnering with the Wilderness Road Kiwanis as a teacher, and contributing as a small group and worship leader at Shiloh Church.

40 Under Forty Honoree Spotlight ✨ Congratulations to Raphael Martins De Moura Baeta ('18)

Raphael Martins De Moura Baeta serves as Operations Manager at Express Employment Professionals, where he leads a high-performing team with a focus on achieving strong financial results. He builds and maintains relationships with local businesses to better connect job seekers with meaningful employment opportunities, serves on the boards of the Chamber of Commerce and CASA of Campbell County, and is a graduate of the Express Leadership Academy and holds a Business Management Certification. He is multilingual, speaking Portuguese natively, with fluency in English and intermediate proficiency in Spanish.

40 Under Forty Honoree Spotlight ✨ Congratulations to Jacob Baggett (‘15)!

Jacob Baggett is an accomplished lawyer and state-level lobbyist for the State of Tennessee, where he counsels clients on political and legislative matters in the state, authors legislative instruments, and works closely with members of the General Assembly to support their passage. Jacob leads fundraising and sponsor engagement efforts, guides the student executive council, and oversees the planning and ex*****on of the annual student general assembly for the TISL Foundation. Recognized by his peers for his expertise and leadership, he serves on the board of the Tennessee Lobbyist Association and contributes to his alma mater as a member of the DSOL Alumni Association board.

While Jacob was unable to attend the reception due to post-adjournment work responsibilities, we are proud to recognize and celebrate his accomplishments as one of our 2026 40 Under Forty honorees!

40 Under Forty 2026 Honoree Spotlight ✨ Congratulations to Brittney Atkins (‘11)!

Brittney Atkins is an experienced and passionate Laboratory Manager at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System and Morristown-Hamblen West, part of Covenant Health, where she has served since 2017. Known for her servant leadership style and patient-centered approach, she is dedicated to delivering accurate laboratory results while fostering a supportive and engaged team environment. Brittney has held key leadership roles, including Technical Specialist in Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Point of Care Testing, as well as Chief Medical Technologist. Within her first year as Laboratory Manager, she successfully led the transition from CAP to The Joint Commission accreditation and has since enhanced the outpatient laboratory experience while improving employee engagement through intentional, people-focused leadership.
