⭐ COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT ⭐

The City of Hart and Mayor Klotz would like to recognize and sincerely thank lifelong resident Mark Butcher for his outstanding dedication and community spirit.
Recently, Mark approached the City of Hart and the Department of Public Works with a vision to improve the appearance of the area surrounding the Hart Lake State Street Bridge. After receiving permission, Mark took it upon himself to clean up the grounds and restore visibility of the beautiful lake that welcomes residents and visitors as they enter town.
Over the course of approximately 30 hours, Mark worked tirelessly to remove brush, clear debris, and enhance the area, helping showcase one of Hart's natural treasures. His efforts have made a noticeable difference, creating a more attractive gateway into our community and allowing everyone to better enjoy the scenic views of Hart Lake.
Mark's motivation was simple: as a lifelong resident, he wants everyone to be proud of our beautiful town. His commitment to improving our community serves as an inspiring example of what can be accomplished when citizens take pride in where they live.
On behalf of the City of Hart, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mark for his hard work, generosity, and dedication. Community members like Mark help make Hart a special place to call home.
Thank you, Mark, for helping keep Hart beautiful!

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Hart Rotary Club 2799 for their incredible work on the engraved brick project for the Downtown Community Firepit.

Thanks to their dedication and community support, the Rotary successfully sold all of the engraved bricks needed to raise the full $22,500 required for the project. This accomplishment is a testament to the generosity of our community and the hard work of the Rotary members who made it happen.

Today Economic & Community Development Coordinator Lindsay Brown graciously accepted a check from the Hart Rotary Club representing the funds raised through this successful community effort.

We are grateful for the Hart Rotary Club's commitment to enhancing our downtown and creating a welcoming gathering space for residents and visitors to enjoy for years to come.

Thank you, Hart Rotary Club, and thank you to everyone who purchased a brick and helped make this community project a reality! ❤️

🚧 Hart Energy Notice 🚧

Throughout the month of June, Hart Energy and Wadel Contractor will be working in the area from W. Main Street to Johnson Street and between Peach Street and Orchard Street.

Crews will be working in backyards throughout the project area to install underground conduit as part of an electric system improvement project. This work will help update power lines and allow for the removal of some existing overhead lines.

Residents may notice utility crews in the area during this time. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue improving the reliability and safety of our electric system.

Thank you for your understanding!
