Need to Register for the Upcoming Election?

Oceana Dems are joining Americans across the country on Tuesday, September 15, for National Voter Registration Day.

Stop by the local Dems HQ at 920 State St. in Hart for "Registration Round-up", 3:00-6:00 p.m.

Celebrate, support and encourage our American democracy by making sure you can vote on November 3. It's easy to register. You must be a U.S. citizen, a Michigan resident for at least 30 days, at least 17.5 years old (turning 18 by the time you vote), have a Michigan-issued driver's license or a Michigan-issued state ID. If you do not have a Michigan ID you must provide the last four digits of your Social Security number.

We'll have registration forms in English and Spanish. If you're wondering if you are still registered or wondering where to vote, go to michigan dot gov slash vote.

Very successful event last night at Cherry Point! Many thanks to all the volunteers who helped make it happen, and especially to Barbara Bull for hosting. The cherry pie was fantastic!

We are so excited to be endorsing Rebecca Amidon for State Senate, because we KNOW she will always listen to us and will work hard for us here in Oceana County, the working people, the farmers, families who are struggling to find daycare and/or pay for food or medical attention. And we know she respects our nation’s constitution and our personal freedoms and rights.

Thank you, Rebecca, for having our backs! We can’t wait until you’re sworn it. Someone needs to get busy fixing some things for we, the people!
