Check out BJSHS senior Brady Bannister donate blood during the first blood drive of the school year!
The event was hosted by the Health Careers classes at BJSHS and Versiti Blood Services of Indiana. Along with the goal of replenishing life-saving blood supplies for those in need, BJSHS Health Careers students have a chance to earn scholarships at the end of the school year.
Thanks to all the donors and student volunteers who made this drive a success! Please be sure and join us for the next one!

Just a reminder that the "Be Seen and Heard" event with Victor Pacini takes place tonight at 5:30 p.m. in the BJSHS Theater Room.

In compliance with Erin's Law, Blackford County Schools will be hosting a curriculum from Childhood Victories, Inc., called "Be Seen and Heard." All kindergarten through twelve grade students will have the opportunity to hear speaker Victor Pacini deliver an age-appropriate, safe, and engaging body safety message. We encourage all parents and guardians to attend Parent Night with Victor Pacini where he will give an overview of the program and answer any questions. Parents' night will be Monday, August 31 at 5:30pm located in the BJSHS theater room. All kindergarten through twelve grade parents and guardians are welcome to attend.

BIS and BJSHS use the same photography company. Important information on families with multiple kids:

Family Plan Details & Instructions*

For parents with more than two children attending schools in the same district: The first two children pay full price for their packages (packages must be the same). Each additional child within the immediate family receives the same package at no charge. *Options are not included.

To receive the discount, all children must return the completed order envelope to the photographer on picture day to be photographed. Complete all information on the order envelope, including the Family Plan Discount section and check the Family Plan method of payment. All information requested must be provided on the envelope to process your order. DO NOT COMBINE PAYMENTS in order envelope. The first two children enclose the full package price in their envelope; additional children must present completed envelope to the photographer on picture day.

To receive the discount when ordering online, simply add all children's packages to the shopping cart. Click the Family Plan box located in the lower left corner for each child. All student packages must be purchased at the same time. If packages were previously ordered for the first two children, any additional students must present a completed order envelope to the photographer on their picture day, with the Family Plan box checked and the section completed, to receive their free package. * Options are not included.

*Family plan discount applies to Picture Day Package, (during the pre-pay period) purchases only and does NOT apply to reorder packages.

*Family Plan cannot be combined with any other promotion.
