Below is the trash calendar for the month of September. Also, City Hall will be closed on Monday, September 7th for Labor Day. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, September 8th. Monday's trash will be picked up on Tuesday as well as the large item trash for Monday. 😊😊

August 28th by 3:30pm is the deadline for submitting bid forms for the four city lots for sale. Information is below!

The City of Hartford City is accepting re-bids for the purchase of the city-owned lots located at the following:

806 South Pearl Street
802 South Pearl Street
414 North Monroe Street
705 West Franklin Street

Bid forms are available at the Mayor’s Office and must be submitted to the Mayor’s Office no later than August 28, 2026.

All bids received by the deadline will be reviewed and considered by the City Council.

The leaks are fixed near Conger Street and Blackford Intermediate School and the boil order has been lifted effective immediately. Thank you for your patience during this time.

There's two main water leaks on Conger Street near the Intermediate School. They are working on two main breaks. If you've lost water, and once the water turns back on, please do a boil until further notice. We will keep you updated.
