NABLEO 2026 CONFERENCE REGISTRATION IS OPEN

Law enforcement officers and their community partners from across the United States are invited to attend the 2026 Education and Training Conference of the National Association of Black Law Enforcement Officers, Inc. (NABLEO) being held in New Haven, CT. Hosted by the New Haven Guardians Association, the conference will be held October 21-23, 2026, at the Omni New Haven Hotel at Yale, 155 Temple St, New Haven, CTand is expected to draw attendance from local, state, campus, tribal and federal law enforcement professionals.

Themed "Policing With Precision and Purpose", this three-day event will be focused on providing conference participants with greater tools, knowledge, and skills for interacting with people, particularly in communities of color, and allow them to build operative and reciprocal bridges of understanding between law enforcement agencies and the communities they serve, so as to create sustainable impact models of positive policing. The event is specifically tailored for law enforcement personnel, as well as the staff and leadership of the organizations that make up community partnerships responsible for direct community outreach and engagement, such as community policing units, public information officers and outreach coordinators. We will seek to revisit the past of law enforcement, analyze policing in the present, and forge a path towards setting standards for law enforcement agencies in the future.

Happy Holidays!

Hartford Guardians Inc. is proud to say this year’s Toy Drive helped over 250 Hartford families. Thousands of toys were given directly to families, based on each child’s wish list, with many delivered in person, even on Christmas Eve.

Thank you to Waterford, Senator Chris Murphy, The Beth Hustle, CT Police Jiu Jitsu Team, Officer Survival Series, United Healthcare, Optum, Alana, our volunteers, the City of Hartford, PAL, and all our generous supporters.

If your family was helped, please send us or tag Hartford Guardians Inc. in your photos with the toys so we can share the joy.
