Hello everyone,
I wanted to take a moment to update you on the recent performance of the City of Hartford Police Cadets at their latest competition.
Overall, the cadets represented the City of Hartford with a high level of professionalism, discipline, and skill. They competed in a variety of challenging events, including MILO (police use of force simulation, Active Threat response, Crisis intervention, Traffic Stop scenarios, Physical Conditioning, and Suspicious Person investigations.
I'm proud to report that the cadets performed exceptionally well across all categories. Notably, they earned a 3rd place finish in the Active Threat event, demonstrating strong teamwork, communication, and tactical awareness under pressure.
Beyond placements, their overall performance reflected the quality of their training and their commitment to developing as future law enforcement professionals. They conducted themselves in a manner that brought positive recognition to the police department at the City of Hartford.
