I am genuinely so sad at the passing of our former Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman. While I didn’t have the privilege of working with her while she was in office, I learned a lot from her in every experience I had with her. She had a down to earth and direct way of explaining policy so that no matter how wonky it was, people could understand it and why she found it valuable.
Every time I walk up a long, steep driveway while knocking doors I have always thought of her and know I forever will (IYKYK), and I will always count among the best compliments the times when she said she liked my shoes.
My thoughts and prayers go out to her family, friends, and loved ones.
