JOB INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Armed Security Guard
MSG is seeking motivated men and women with excellent customer service skills who are flexible, reliable and dependable for part-time or career opportunities as Armed Security Officers (Armed Escorts). MUST HAVE A CT SECURITY GUARD LICENSE AS WELL AS A CT PISTOL PERMIT (CLASS 1) (BLUE CARD)
On-Call Armed Escorts - Part-time days, nights and W/Es available/Great part-time job for extra cash
You can tell us the days and times you are available. Especially looking for M-F mornings and afternoons.
Responsibilities:
• Be available within 45 minutes of contact/be willing to drive
• Interior/Exterior walking and standing surveillance for long periods of time/entire shift
• Ensure safety and security of the facility and faculty by enforcing company policies and procedures
• Document and maintain accurate records/complete incident reports/Fax, scan, e-mail reports/paperwork
• Exercise proper judgment
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
• At least 21 years of age
• HS diploma or equivalent
• LTC required/CT Security Guard License (Blue Card)
• 1-2 years security or customer service experience preferred
• Must be COURTEOUS and DEPENDABLE and FLEXIBLE
• Clean CORI/drug screen
• Ability to read/write/speak English clearly
• Valid Driver’s License with clean record & reliable personal vehicle
• Maintains professional appearance
• Must be able to walk, sit or stand for long periods of time
