Join us on the sixth anniversary of George Floyd’s murder this Monday, May 25th in front of the Hartford Public Library Albany Branch at 5:00pm to speak out against the justification of Timothy Glaze’s murder, the fact that Everard Walker’s murderer, Alexander Clifford, is still employed by HPD, and that neither he nor Joseph Magnano, the murderer of Stevie Jones, have been indicted or convicted of murder.

Speak out against the 8,000+ lives stolen by police since George Floyd’s murder six years ago Monday.

SPEAKOUT RECAP + ANNOUNCEMENT: On Friday, May 15, we held a speakout in downtown New Britain to expose abuser and s*x pest Chris Yarmolovich. Chris has abused, harassed, and s*xually assaulted multiple women. He is a predator who does not deserve any peace where he lives, works, or hangs out. People got on the mic to speak their bitterness against abusers like Chris and call for everyone to stand up and fight back against patriarchy.

Then we marched to the McDonald’s where Chris works to confront and expose him there in front of his coworkers and customers. Staff tried to shut us down: they called the cops on us, said we couldn’t be there, and said Chris wasn’t there. Instead of taking swift action against a dangerous predator, they played defense for him. McDonald’s should fire Chris, not protect him!

JOIN US THIS FRIDAY, MAY 22 outside 67 Martin Luther King Drive in New Britain for a speak out to further expose and shame ra**st abuser Chris Yarmolovich! It’s up to us to fight back against predators and the system that protects them. SHAME MUST SWITCH SIDES! F**K THE PATRIARCHY!

Chris Yarmolovich: Wanted for Abuse and Sexual Harassment. Join us this Friday in New Britain’s Central Park for a rally to expose this abuser! In December 2025 we learned from a homeless woman, who we met and organized a protest in support of after a local shelter kicked her out, that Chris Yarmolovich had abused her during and after their relationship earlier that year.

What she told us appeared to fit into a broader pattern of misogyny from Chris Yarmolovich. Finally in mid-March 9 Dare to Struggle members and supporters confronted Chris Yarmolovich outside the New Britain Public Library. He retaliated by sending pictures of our cars in the parking lot and harassing a women we work with over WhatsApp the next day.

The legal system has never protected women or punished abusers, join us on Friday to expose and run this abuser out of town!

We fought our charges and beat the state of Connecticut! Last week on 4/29, the state dropped their charges against the 3 DtS activists arrested at their homes days after protesting against a gentrifying business in New Britain! After dragging us through 6 court dates over 9 months, the state finally motioned to nolle the charges (drop the charges but could decide to re-open the case over the next 13 months). We said either drop the charges completely or take us to trial, and they moved to drop the charges completely.

From the start this has all been about intimidating activists for their first amendment right to protest and to expose all the rotten s**t going on right now in New Britain, from the unchecked brutality and murder done by New Britain PD to the moves being made by the city to gentrify the downtown area and mistreat homeless people. We made it very clear from the jump that we will not accept their bs charges and will be settling for nothing less than a full acquittal. We are now moving to sue the city and New Britain PD for violating our first amendment rights.

If you are facing repression and want support, hit us up!

We are sad to announce that our People’s Tribunal to Convict ICE, originally scheduled for this Saturday, May 9, is canceled.

While ICE and their allies who stand in the way of protest against them deserve to be put on trial and convicted for their crimes, our chapter is not currently able to put together a tribunal.

Still, ICE thugs continue to terrorize people across the country. Killer cops with bloody badges still prowl the streets. Gentrifiers are still driving the homeless and poor out of cities to make way for the rich. Although we’re canceling this tribunal, we will continue to combat all forms of oppression and injustice alongside those directly impacted.

Pack the court! Tomorrow at 2pm in New Britian. On Monday, April 13th the New Britain 3 had their fifth day in court where the judge heard arguments about the motion to dismiss our charges.

State prosecutor Thai Chhay and Detective Thai Tran both admitted during arguments that there are false statements in the signed warrant used to arrest the 3 activists back in August of 2025. The justification for the arrests was because we said “f**k the pigs”, but in court our lawyers were able to show that this does not breach the peace nor did anyone file a complaint during or after our protest. Chhay changed his argument for the charges once it was determined that “f**k the pigs” is protected free speech; he now claims it was our use of a megaphone to say this message. Watch through our reel to get the full recap.

Our next court date is now this Wednesday, April 29th at 2pm. It was moved up from Monday, May 18th at the state’s request. We will be hearing whether Judge Jesse Giddings grants the motion to dismiss the charges, however we hope to hear his decision sooner so we don’t have to take off more work for a 6th court date.
