As you all played, we hope you noticed the great places to shop, picnic, and play this summer!

You found Golden Eggs at the Boat Ramp, Ellis Park, and Ohio Co Park with a new picnic areas; on the Hartford and OC Park Walking Trails; along the disc golf course and outside of Main Street businesses. You explored around historical markers and the town square!

It’s Derby Day and day 2 of the Derby Dash Golden Ticket hunt in Hartford!

✅ Yesterday, 6/6 were FOUND in under 4 hours!

✅ 6/6 more eggs were found this morning in under 3 hours!!

Y’all are some PROFESSIONAL-level hide-and-seek players!

The first weekend of May is the Kentucky Derby! Let's get into the spirit with a little fun, outdoor, friendly competition.

Join us for The Derby Dash in Hartford, May 1–3, and hunt for Golden Eggs hidden around town! Like the Derby, unless conditions are unsafe, this will be a rain-or-shine event.

The City of Hartford is proud to welcome Jason Roberts as our newest City Council member!

Jason was officially sworn in to fill the seat vacated by Tommy Cash, who resigned from the council as required by KRS statute after accepting the position of Deputy Coroner, as he could not hold both roles.

We thank Tommy for his dedicated service to our community and wish him all the best in his new position.

Mayor Beau Wright shared, “We are grateful to Tommy for his contributions and are excited to have Jason join our team. I look forward to working together to serve the citizens of Hartford.”

From water superintendent, Chris Reynolds:

The Boil Water Advisory is still in effect for all City of Hartford residents/ customers.

The water department is currently flushing the system to eliminate as much as air in the water mains as possible and to clear as much discolored water as possible. Then, the City of Hartford Water Department is planning on collecting samples Monday or Tuesday. This depends on weather conditions and if all of the air is out of the system.

Once samples are collected and taken to our lab it will take 24 hour for the city to receive the results, once clear there will be a reach alert and a public notification by social media.

If you experience air in your faucets run your water until the air is gone.

Please continue to boil any water that is to consume, boil for atleast 3 minutes or until a rolling boil.
