Standing in solidarity with local business owners. We'd much rather support them, than corporate conglomerations that rob the people and make the profits. As long as we have a voice we must use it. Our buying power is massive. Stand Strong. Shop locally when ever humanly possible.

Our ED, Victoria Christgau, was on a remarkable assignment with other Kingian Nonviolence Trainer colleagues in Montgomery, Alabama last week. Home of the Equal Justice Institute (EJI) and their multiple Legacy Sites depicting civil rights history and the horrific truth about slavery and lynching in the USA. It was an honor to be working with this crew. We dream about bringing many people there. The EJI's, Elevation Convening Center and Hotel was pure genius and the Legacy museum sites, rival the Smithsonian. Black History is American History and we are all a part of it. Thank you Freedom Together Foundation, and Alicia Garza for hosting the training. Thank you astonishing, Bryan Stevenson for your vision and profound leadership. And thank you, Charles Alphin for inviting me to work with your team.

This is a very sad day for us. Because Dr. Bernard LaFayette was our dear friend and remarkable mentor. Rev. Dr. Bernard LaFayette trained many of CTCN trainers and he means so much to us, we need some grieving time on this day of his passing and we plan to post some true stories soon. Long Live ! A great soul has gone home. 🙏🏾God Bless his family may they be comforted.

We are asked to remain nonviolent when violence is king in this country and around the world. How do we remain nonviolent and assert ourselves? How do we keep showing up despite the overall pallor of grief that has infected our communities? Join us on Saturday. Let's grow together, stand strong. And RESIST.
