A picture-perfect day to join the Office of Governor Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Department of Transportation to announce the start of major rehabilitation work on the Gold Star Memorial Bridge! The project, entering its next phase, will see major work begin on the northbound side. Please be advised that there will be a traffic shift starting on May 30. Back on the road in Derby, where we joined the Office of Governor Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Department of Transportation to celebrate the start of construction on major upgrades to four stations on the Metro-North Waterbury Line! In addition to Derby-Shelton, the stations that will be upgraded are Ansonia, Beacon Falls, and Seymour.

On Monday, we joined the Office of Governor Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Department of Transportation to get the latest updates on the I-91/I-691/Route 15 interchange in Meriden. Our team got to visit this site and we're excited to see this project come together. Congratulations to the Town of Vernon, Connecticut and Mayor Champagne!

The project is part of a larger effort to bring approximately 215 workforce and affordable apartments to several old mills in Vernon’s Rockville neighborhood.
