Happy Pride Month, Connecticut! 🌈

Connecticut has long led the nation on protections and equality for our LGBTQ+ neighbors. Since 2019, we’ve protected gender-affirming care providers, banned the “gay and transgender panic” defense and health care discrimination based on gender identity, enhanced same-sex family rights, expanded access to PrEP. This year, we also passed stronger hate crimes protections and expanded insurance coverage for LGBTQ+ couples using IVF.

As other states roll back rights, Connecticut is moving forward. Every person in this state deserves to live, work, and raise a family free from discrimination ! 🏳️‍🌈
