New England Science & Sailing Foundation's NESS SEA AmeriCorps Members are sharing the magic of ocean-learning with communities.

Since 2014, NESS SEA AmeriCorps members have provided classroom and community support by engaging learners through hands-on programs, inspiring students to embrace the , take on new challenges, and become positive . 🫶

These members are truly making a difference across our state, and we cannot wait to continue to see their service change lives this year. ✨

Prevention Corps Connecticut Members are sharing the AmeriCorps impact across the state, educating and empowering CT communities to end the opioid crisis. 🤝 📣

Yesterday, Prevention Corps AmeriCorps Members shared the impact of AmeriCorps with folks across southern CT, while providing proactive, community-focused solutions in opioid education, awareness, and stigma reduction.

These members are truly making a difference across our state, and we cannot wait to continue to see their service change lives this year. 🎉

Summer may be closing in, but that doesn't stop service for AmeriCorps members. ✨👏 Connecticut RISE Network On-Track Mentors like Angel in , CT are serving students daily no matter the season.

On-Track Mentors support ninth-grade students during a pivotal transition year, helping them build the foundation for high school and postsecondary success. As part of a dedicated team in RISE partner schools, members provide personalized support and serve as student advocates, working to ensure every student graduates with a strong plan and the skills and confidence to succeed. 📝

"The Art of Influence: Leadership and Mentorship in AmeriCorps" was brought to AmeriCorps Connecticut Program Staff by Ashley Schwader, MSOL, CLC, CSC, where she gave folks an opportunity to lean into strategy, shared insights, and focus on how to deepen our impact where it matters most: in the lives of AmeriCorps Connecticut members. ✨

Only TWO weeks to go until the Serve Connecticut Community Impact Award Opportunity closes! ⏰ ✨

Serve Connecticut is partnering with InnerView to provide an innovative platform to empower Connecticut’s high school aged youth leaders to capture and share their diverse service and volunteerism activities.

Participating Connecticut high school aged youth who document a minimum of 20 service hours toward at least four or service activities over the school year (June 1, 2025 - April 15, 2026) will earn a Serve Connecticut Community Impact Award.

We encourage you to share this opportunity with interested youth, schools, non-profit organizations that work with youth, and others who may be able to share along this opportunity!
