The Hartford Preservation Alliance (HPA) is Hartford’s voice for the preservation of the city’s unique architectural heritage. We focus on educating the public about preservation issues, convening and collaborating with interested parties to effect positive change, advocating for rehabilitation and proper mothballing of older structures, and nominating appropriate properties for placement on the state and federal historic registries.
